All about Us

I have been breeding New Caledonian geckos since 2017. Before that, I still had many other ventures.

             I have always had a some sort of small startup business going ever since I was around 10 years old. I started with wanting to be the biggest fish breeder in the region. One of my more official businesses was a homemade spa line I had curated. But, I was really starting to struggle with my anxiety more as I got older. I always had my pets to keep me busy and entertained though. They were my comfort, safe space, and were the only things that brought me peace and joy at the time. I quickly learned about crested geckos when I started looking more into reptiles. I saw how adorable they seemed and realized I already had almost everything I needed to house one. I went to a small, local, pet shop in Wichita, KS to buy my first crested gecko. I became enamored by how bizarre and neat she was. I started doing even more research on reptiles and I saw there were reptile expos in my area. And better yet, there was one this coming weekend. I went to my first reptile expo a week after getting my first crested gecko, and to no one's surprise, I came home with a breeding female. My passion for my animals and quality of our projects have only been improving since then.

          I went to that expo where everyone was making money off their hobby or now full-time job. It was so interestingly vast. No one was the weird one out. There were snakes, bugs, fish, lizards, spiders, and all kinds of exotics but everyone and everything was welcome. There wasn’t a single weirdo in the room, and I felt at home. This also happened during a time in my life where I was looking to see where I could fit in. I wanted somewhere to go to feel accepted and I was also looking for a career outlet. I believe I found both. I started to realize I wanted to bring more people into this hobby or to help aide in providing the proper education and care of all exotics. We also aim to help people realize our main ideology that things are not always as they appear. Snakes, geckos, spiders. and more, aren't as scary as you think. Your expectation of someone or something is not ever fully complete without interacting with it and facing it!
